At first glance, 1398 Queen Street West was extremely rough. Despite this, when Anka from Mankind Grooming Studio for Men viewed the space, she could see the possibilities in its raw state.
Today, Mankind is a cornucopia of textures. It skates from smooth to coarse, from traditional to modern, and back again. This eclectic esthetic is a cohesive and comfortable place, born from a process in which Anka injected elements of her other salons into the space Isosceles Design restored and augmented key elements of the building's historic nature.
The result is two visions that dovetail tightly together and bear the mark of neither Isosceles nor Mankind alone.
