The Process
Vertical living is a reality of urban living. I believe that this simple fact is an opportunity to bring dynamic and creative design elements to a space. Although there are instances where playing a staircase down might be appropriate, I believe that celebrating them is an all-to-often missed opportunity.
In this situation, the solid steel rod pickets were continued from the basement up to the second floor creating as glimmering, flowing element connecting all three floors.
